Request for Reports

We serve as a steward for environmental and economic sustainability of Clear Lake, its neighboring lands and waters, local communities, and beyond.

Lake County and the surrounding areas are now facing a new threat: the Mediterranean Oak Borer (MOB), which poses a significant risk to our Valley and Blue Oak trees. The beetle's spread within Napa, Sonoma, and Lake Counties is not yet fully understood, so CLERC is closely monitoring suspect trees.

We need help from community members who work directly with trees. The most important step right now is identifying where infestations are occurring, so we can make informed decisions on how to respond.

We're collaborating with the Tree Mortality Task Force, a subcommittee of the Risk Reduction Authority (RRA). A reporting system has been developed, allowing community members to report trees that may be affected. If you suspect an infected tree, you can report it, Here!
